Kosher Meals on Wheels

Jewish Family Services provides Maine’s only kosher meal delivery system to vulnerable and home-bound seniors in the greater Portland community.  

The Kosher Meals on Wheels program provides five frozen kosher meals per week to those in our community who have maintained a life-long kosher diet and now find they are unable to cook for themselves.  Meals are produced in a kosher kitchen at the Cedars under the supervision of Rabbi Moshe Wilansky. Volunteer drivers deliver meals to recipients once a week.
