Saturday, June 17 - A Special Shabbat for Pride Week

9:00 - 11:00 AM
Outdoor Pride Shabbat Service with Rabbi Saks on the Plaza steps of Portland City Hall, 389 Congress Street

Please Note: On Saturday morning, June 17, Congregation Bet Ha'am will be taking the show on the road. Instead of observing Shabbat at Bet Ha'am, we will join for Shabbat Worship downtown. For this week ONLY, Torah Study on June 17 will occur within the framework of our special Shabbat service. We will NOT have a separate Torah Study session on June 17. We will NOT be holding Saturday morning services at Bet Ha'am.

In Case of Inclement Weather: In case of inclement weather, we will move inside to a ground floor classroom, room 120, at Maine College of Art (MECA), located at 522 Congress Street. Signs will be posted inside the building directing you to our service. The security desk staff (at the Congress Street entrance) will also know where we will be located. If the weather is not obviously cooperating, we will make a judgment call at 7:00 AM on Saturday to decide if we need to move indoors. If so, we will update Bet Ha'am's outgoing voicemail message, post the information at www.bethaam.org, and also on our Facebook page. Chances are, if you don't see us on the City Hall plaza at 9:00 AM, we've moved indoors to MECA!

If you are looking a more traditional worship alternative on Saturday morning, June 17, please consider joining Temple Beth El, 400 Deering Avenue, Portland, for their Shabbat morning worship, beginning at 9:30 AM.
