Join Congregation Bet Ha'am for a potluck dinner, book signing and Shabbat worship with a talk by Dr. Itzhak Brook. Dr. Brook is the author of “In the Sands of Sinai, a Physician’s Account of the Yom Kippur War”. Dr. Brook will speak about the historical perspectives of the war, its long term effects on the Israeli society and peace, and his personal experiences as a battalion physician. Dr. Brooks is a Professor of Pediatrics at Georgetown University and is a speaker for the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC.

A vegetarian/dairy potluck will start off the evening. Stay and join us for Shabbat Worship.
